Water. Malt. Hops. Yeast. They make beer, but how? Join us here at London Fields Brewery and learn the secret of brewing award winning craft beer. You’ll spend a day shadowing one of our expert craft brewers as they complete a pilot brew for our research and development process. They will take you through the science and art behind creating great craft beer.
As our head brewer creates an experimental batch on our pilot system, you will be a part of the fundamental process of recipe formulation, brewing mechanics, and scaling up for full production on our 10½ barrel kit.
You will inevitably have to sample some beer…quality control is a must, and lunch will be provided in our Tap Room.
We do however ask a couple of things from you, please do not wear your Sunday best, we are simple folk here at London Fields and you will get dirty. Our Brewery floor gets wet a lot, so please wear wellies or suitable shoes that don’t mind squelching in beer when they walk. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know in advance.
It’s a great way of getting to know how to brew your own beer and create flavours, without getting your hands dirty! Ask whatever you like and learn as much as you can.
