Assistant Operations Manager

LFB are looking to recruit an Assistant Operations Manager for our innovative craft brewery. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and assuming responsibility for operations in the Operations Manager’s absence you will be responsible for all areas of the brewery’s day to day operations to include:

• Production planning and management
• Sales, marketing and brand management
• Business management and profitability
• Compliance
• Logistics
• HR
• IT

To complement our existing team we’re looking for somebody that has excellent IT (Excel/Access), organisational, planning and people skills. The ability to think on your feet, use your initiative and make the right decision is important. Direct experience running a brewery’s operations is not essential, though desirable, more a proven track record in delivering operations and management excellence. Training will be provided where necessary. High levels of energy, natural creative flair and being an ‘ideas person’ are essential as you will be expected to introduce new concepts and innovations whilst delivering our plans. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven operations professional from a manufacturing or niche brand background with a yellow belt lean six sigma and a strong lean to production management and IT. Additonal skills in design and social media are also desirable and will be put to good use as are a driving and forklift license.

Having recently underegone a major rebrand and preparing for major growth there are significant opportunities ahead. You will be responsible for delivering our growth plans alongside the operations manager as well as implementing the rebrand. You will need considerable planning skills to achieve this as you will have to consider not just how our sales will be increasing but also how to produce and deliver it consistently and seamlessly. Your focus will be on delivering a profitable, rapidly expanding business with our tight-knit, passionate team.

£25-35k according to experience. Perks include staff discount at the Taproom bar and access to some of the best gigs in London at the Brewhouse venue.
